Worzel-Miller, Lila. (2000). The Best of Both Worlds (a-not-so-silent life). San Jose, CA: Writers Club Press.
This book was written to show that life as a hearing child growing up with deaf parents may have been a struggle for some CODAs (children of deaf adults), but there are also other people who grew up experiencing the best of the deaf and hearing worlds. Her story is part of the latter group. Miller has scattered family photos and humorous anecdotes about her childhood throughout the book, making this an uplifting story for everyone.
